Friends in London

We were really blessed this weekend to have Gary and Karyl Boring visiting us from Indianapolis. They were traveling about the Island on a tour sponsored by Rick Steeves “Europe Through the Backdoor.” We had lunch at the Tate Modern, visited Portobello Road Market, tasted some amazing curry on Brick Lane, and almost went to see Mozart at St. Martin-in-the-Fields. On Sunday morning they went to church at London City Presbyterian Church with us. It was great to sing tenor with Gary while singing bass on all of the a capella psalms. After church a group of us feasted at the Strain’s until almost 4pm. Gary and Karyl are very cool people and we’ll look forward to seeing them again on their further world travels!

I miss you guys a lot but am so happy that you seem to be really enjoying yourself and “settling” in to London life. The baby is kicking up a storm these days – I wish you could see how my tummy moves around when he/she does! Love you guys so much!

  6. We just took a complete tour of London enjoying all of your comments. It made me homesick to return to one of my favorite cities. Take care. Love to you.
